Techglaz Hackfest 2026, a two-day hackathon, was successfully organised at Bhagalpur College of Engineering (BCE), bringing together student teams from colleges across Bihar to build websites, mobile applications and other digital solutions.

Students from Siwan, Nawada, Jamui, Purnea and several other districts across Bihar participated in the event and showcased their technical skills, creativity and innovative ideas on a shared platform.

24-Hour Build Challenge

The event provided participants with an opportunity to apply their classroom learning in a practical, competitive environment and discover the challenges involved in building technology products from scratch.

Project Evaluation and Expert Feedback

Teams presented their completed projects before a panel of expert judges. Projects were evaluated on parameters including innovation, functionality, relevance, technical implementation and future potential.

Beyond scoring, the judges took time to interact individually with teams and offered detailed feedback and guidance on improving their websites and applications, enhancing user experience and taking their projects forward. The constructive inputs gave participants actionable direction beyond the competition itself.

Networking and Learning

The event also served as a platform for students from different institutions to interact, exchange ideas and learn from one another. Participants gained exposure to practical problem-solving approaches and the real-world challenges involved in developing technology-based solutions.

The cross-college participation allowed students to build connections across Bihar's engineering and technical education community.
