Is InduPaper free to use?

Yes, InduPaper is completely free. There is no registration, no subscription fee, and no hidden charges. You can read and download e-papers as many times as you want. The platform is supported by advertisements that help us keep the service running.

Which newspapers are available on InduPaper?

Currently InduPaper provides access to: Amar Ujala (Hindi), Dainik Jagran (Hindi), Hindustan (Hindi), Hindustan Times (English), Times of India (English), Prabhat Khabar (Hindi), Rajasthan Patrika (Hindi), and Maharashtra Times (Marathi). We are actively working on adding Dainik Bhaskar, The Hindu, and The New Indian Express very soon.

How far back can I read old newspapers?

The archive availability depends on each newspaper. For Amar Ujala, archives are available from as early as 2015. For most other newspapers, you can typically access editions from the last 1–3 years. Simply pick a date in the date picker on each newspaper card to check availability for that specific date.

How do I download a newspaper as PDF?

Follow these steps: (1) Select your newspaper card on the home page. (2) Choose the date, state, and city. (3) Click the "View" button to load the e-paper preview. (4) Once the preview is open, click the "⬇ Download PDF" button in the top toolbar. Your browser's print dialog will open — select "Save as PDF" as the destination. This saves a copy of the full newspaper to your device.

Why is the e-paper not loading or showing an error?

There are a few common reasons: (1) The date you selected may not have an available edition — try today's date or a recent date. (2) Some city editions may not be available for older dates. (3) Your internet connection might be slow — try refreshing the page. (4) Browser popup blockers can prevent the preview from opening — please allow popups for indupaper.com. If the issue persists, try a different browser like Chrome or Firefox.

Which cities are available for each newspaper?

The city dropdown on each newspaper card is populated automatically with all available editions for that newspaper. Amar Ujala covers 30+ cities including Lucknow, Agra, Delhi, Varanasi, Dehradun, Patna and more. Dainik Jagran covers 35+ cities. Hindustan Times covers Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Patna and others. You can check the full list by opening the city dropdown on the respective card.

Can I read the newspaper on my mobile phone?

Yes, InduPaper is fully mobile-responsive. The website works well on Android and iOS devices using Chrome, Safari, or any modern browser. The e-paper displays as page images — you can pinch to zoom in, scroll through all pages, and download the PDF directly to your phone's storage.

Does InduPaper store or host newspaper content?

No. InduPaper does not host or store any newspaper content on its servers. We provide links to e-papers that are already publicly accessible online. All newspaper content, trademarks, and intellectual property belong to their respective publishers. If you are a publisher and have a concern, please contact us at support@indupaper.com.

Is the e-paper the same as the printed newspaper?

Yes! An e-paper (electronic paper) is the exact digital replica of the printed newspaper — same layout, same fonts, same photographs, same page order. It is different from a news website. A news website shows articles in a web format, but an e-paper is a page-by-page image of the actual printed edition, including advertisements and supplements.

Why is the PDF download button greyed out?

The direct PDF download feature is currently being rolled out newspaper by newspaper. For papers where the PDF button appears disabled, please use the View button to open the e-paper preview, and then use your browser's built-in Print → Save as PDF option to save the newspaper. This works perfectly on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.

Can I use InduPaper for UPSC / competitive exam preparation?

Absolutely. Reading newspapers daily is one of the most recommended habits for UPSC, SSC, banking, and other competitive exams. InduPaper gives you free access to The Hindu (coming soon), Hindustan Times, and Times of India — all top sources for current affairs. You can also access older editions to revise past events without needing any paid subscription.

How is InduPaper different from the official newspaper app?

Official newspaper apps typically require you to create an account and purchase a subscription to access the full e-paper. InduPaper aggregates free public access to multiple newspapers in one place, so you don't need separate accounts for each paper. It's especially useful if you want to quickly check editions across multiple newspapers or cities.

What states does InduPaper cover?

InduPaper currently covers e-papers for cities across: Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, and Maharashtra. You can browse state-wise using the "Browse by State" section on the home page. We are expanding coverage to more states including Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
